Kill The Ideal have new single ‘Let’s Get Excited’ out this Friday (27/03/2020). Singer, Ash Wilson, currently works on the frontline of the NHS as a staff nurse, and is treating people with Covid-19 on a daily basis. The band will be giving 100% of all profits made from the single to the NHS to help look after the staff and people on the frontline who are fighting against the virus. The single is the first single to be released from the new Kill The Ideal EP, which will be out in Autumn 2020.
Lyrically, the EP is heavily anti-bullying themed, with singer Ash Wilson suffering first hand from bullying throughout his life, and how the current media is actively encouraging bullying (for example Caroline Flack) and pushing an agenda which encourages a lack of humanity and empathy to one another (Coverage of Coronavirus leading to panic buying etc).
